I love this printer! There is a lot to learn and understand with all the variations in paper and programs. I purchased an assortment of paper and am assembling a "catalog" by printing one black and white and one color photograph on the different papers, so later on I can determine which paper I want...

Extremely disappointed and annoyed with this printer and Canon in general. Printer head stopped working after 10 months, not printing from the colour side at all and after a while from black side as well.

If you get a non defective one, they're great.

Third time's the charm I suppose. First one arrived defective in that the carriage constantly jammed. There was no damage to the carton, so this was simply a poorly assembled unit. The second unit worked well other than the orint heads dragged and badly scratched any paper that went though, be it HP...

Great results when used with Print Studio Pro

I've seen this model demonstrated a few times at Photo shows and was always amazed at the results. The price was a bit steep for me being just an enthusiast photographer. Then a great deal was to be had on a Black Friday event so I took the plunge. Am I pleased I did.

Drivers do not work with Mac

After 1 day of my printer working, I received a "filter failed" error. I tried everything imaginable to fix the printer. I called Canon customer support, and they were unable to resolve the problem. Basically, Canon's drivers do not work with Mac OS. Unbelievable.
