Beware differences from the US model. The US Vixia model is one of the most recommended cameras for YouTubers around the world - particularly because it has an external microphone input. Canon even has the exact same spec sheet for the US and EU models, that lists this microphone input.

Canon don't do a lot wrong and this Legria is no exception. I've had a few camcorders in my time and this one has all it needs. Nice size, handles well and every control, including the brilliant touch screen, are intuitive and easy to use.

Size is brilliant, battery is brilliant, quality is 100%. Easy to use Easy to plug in and play on my smart tv via HDMI lead which is supplied. SD easy to transfer to my back up drive. Overall excellent value for money and quality is 100%.

Bought this because I needed to upgrade my old camcorder. This Legria camera is so light and easy to operate it defies the capability and promise that other, more expensive camcorders offer. The operations are so simple even a child can use it. Don't delay go out and grab one!
