Canon EOS R6

The Canon EOS R6 promises "unprecedented levels of speed, operational ease, image quality and low light shooting". So far, so good! Let's take a look at this new mirrorless camera in greater detail.

Corner to corner coverage

The R6 boasts 100% x 100% AF frame coverage to every corner of the shot. In conjunction with advanced AF subject tracking for human eye, face and head detect and animal eye, face and whole body detect, this means your shots won't miss a thing.

Fast and silent

The R6 makes no shutter noise, and is capable of shooting up to 20 frames per second with full autofocus and auto exposure tracking support.

Movie magic

With more and more of us using our cameras for video purposes, Canon satisfies our demands with crystal-clear 4K 60p movie recording and Full HD 120p.

A stable genius

One of the smartest and most talked about features is the 5-Axis in Body Image Stabilizer (IBIS). This means image stabilization is possible even when using non stabilized lenses. When used in partnership with selected Canon RF lenses, the IBIS works in tandem with the lens-based Image Stabilizer to deliver coordinated control and reduce camera-shake blur up to an awesome 8 stops of shutter speed.

Dual SD card slots

The R6 makes it possible to instantly backup by writing direct to both cards at the same time, or recording one file type to one card and another type to the 2nd card.

Canon EOS R6 review

Generally, sports such as car racing and skiing involve movements, which sometimes can be quick. That means even with a good image processor, shooting sports with a slow shutter speed will result in image blurring due to the subject movements.

The full-frame sensor and quality image processor makes the camera suitable for shooting high-resolution images for large-format printing, The dual pixel CMOS AF in this camera enhances subject tracking, allowing you capture shoot photos even if the sport involves fast actions

The camera sensor and image processor tends to overheat, and might shutdown unexpectedly, making you miss the moves, The 1.5 pounds weight might exhaust you if capturing prolonged game sessions handheld

Canon EOS R6 review

While people would talk more about the , the EOS R6 is a great full-frame camera from Canon in the Philippines for professionals who want to transition from the older DSLR EOS cameras without needing to shell out money for new lenses.

Same sensor as the EOS 1DX Mark III, Great video output

Slow startup when automatic sensor cleaning is enabled, Pricey

Canon EOS R6 review

Without a doubt, Canon has done a remarkable job with the EOS R6. While I was very impressed by the specifications of the camera when it was announced together with the R5, after my experience with the original EOS R, I did not have very high expectations.

Canon EOS R6 review

The Apple iPhone 14 isn’t a huge upgrade on the iPhone 13, yet it still is a great phone with a top camera, good battery life and all the iOS benefits.

Clever safety features, Very good battery life, Reliable camera, Fun colours, You’ve got an ageing iPhone: If you’re on an iPhone 11 or older, then the changes here will make a notable difference.

Stuck on a 60Hz display, Minimal differences to the iPhone 13, You’ve got an iPhone 13: The changes from Apple’s previous phone aren’t enough to warrant an upgrade this year.

The Apple iPhone 14 is no match for the just-released iPhone 14 Pro, but if you ignore that, it’s one of the most effective phones around.

Great cameras, front and back, Fast performance, Good battery life, Innovative safety features

Design too familiar, Some average features

More like an iPhone 13S. The generational upgrades for the iPhone 14 are limited to a few subtle changes. At the same time, however, the base price climbs to 800 USD, while the only true innovation happens inside the iPhone 14 Pro series.

excellent OLED display, dust- and waterproof, fast Wi-Fi, wide range of supported frequencies, great camera, very fast performance, good battery life

display limited to 60 Hz, charging rate limited to 20 watts, no macro lens, wide notch

Canon EOS R6 review

Hannah Stryker / Review Geek The iPhone 14 is the latest iteration of Apple’s flagship device. Since its launch, the iPhone has set the standard of what a smartphone is, what it does, and how it looks. Fifteen years later, it’s still doing that.

Top-notch cameras, Amazing display, Snappy performance, Great battery life

It's just "this year's iPhone"
