Small but useful.

I've owned several 16mp cameras but I wanted a higher pixel count for greater detail in my images. I considered the Canon RP, but the dioptre adjustment range on the EVF isn't as wide as with the R for some reason so what else was there with a fully articulated screen with a dioptre adjustment range...

Currently contacting Canon to check authenticity. The charger has a Chinese company plastered across it which seems odd so I am waiting for Canon to get back to me on that. The Camera itself has passed the serial check and feels great, I have no reason to doubt the camera or lense, im hoping Canon...

Great camera with amazing features for the price.

After selling up all my previous Canon gear a few years ago, I found myself yearning to re-enter the photography world, only this time I have an interest in making videos too. After doing some research, and attending a Canon Event hosted by Simeon Quarrie, where we were supplied with loan cameras, I...

Takes wonderful pictures-a smart phone on steroids

I bough it in the spring of 2018, when it was still a novelty... and paid FULL price then. No regrets as I took aver 4000 pictures since. Cons: new lenses, needs adapter to use EF lenses (pricey). Not an inexpensive camera. Pros: small, many options, excellent Auto Focus and Auto Exposure.

I like this camera for the light weight the fast auto focus and even the 4k which you can use with a wide angle lens to mitigate the crop factor. It does not feel as sturdy as my Nikon but then it's not as heavy either.

Canon EOS M50

The EOS M50 isn't the mirrorless camera Canon enthusiasts have been waiting for and more than the slightly higher-featured EOS M5 was. However, that doesn't mean it's without merit.

Canon's mirrorless lineup has been around for a couple of years now, but the company has taken its own sweet time in bringing the series up to speed with the latest features. Meanwhile, others like Sony and Fujifilm have embraced the mirrorless segment with open arms, delivering some truly...

Light and compact body; Fully articulating display; Above-average image quality in daylight; Dual Pixel autofocus works well

Weak battery life; Slow autofocus at 4K; Average high-ISO performance

Canon EOS M50 Review

It was an unusual day that started with a moderately heavy spring snow storm. I didn't have much time to go out and photograph the storm, but the M50 was handy with the Canon EF-M 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM Lens already mounted.

Fast Dual Pixel CMOS AF; Built-in electronic viewfinder; Excellent vari-angle touchscreen

Unexpected 4K limitations; Manual lens retracting mechanism; Simplified exterior controls
