I bought the camera a few days ago, amazing quality fast service and a free neck strap! Really happy with the product and the price!
Ease of operation is one of the key selling points of the Canon EOS M100, a fun, compact and mirrorless camera. Even though this is considered an entry-level model for those new to interchangeable-lens cameras, it boasts a lot of top-line features.
The ability to access all operations through the M100's full touchscreen interface is one of the big reasons why this model is the epitome of easiness. It's not just a touch screen - it's a 180-degree tilt screen too.
It's just as easy to achieve a fast and precise focus, thanks to dual pixel CMOS AF, touted by Canon as their most advanced autofocus system.
As well as upgrading the sensor to 24.2-megapixels, up from 18-megapixels on previous models, Canon has introduced a new and improved image processor as well, for better overall performance and results.
Experimenting with a new lens from time to time is just part of a photographer's journey as they gain confidence. The M100 gives the user the chance to mix and match with a range of quality lens types - it takes Canon EF-M lenses, as well as EF and EF-S lenses.
If you can change the lens, why not change the colour as well? The M100 gives the user a choice of nine different-coloured jackets to suit the user's individual preferences.

. While the Canon EOS M100 isn't for experienced users, it's an excellent choice for a first interchangeable lens camera. The picture quality is quite good, and this is the most affordable camera on the market with Canon's top-tier AutoFocus system.
With an advanced image sensor and Dual CMOS AutoFocus, the Canon EOS M100 is a compact, stylish bargain of a camera; It can capture sharp, vibrant still images and, with its light body and front-facing touchscreen, is great for making quick vlog-style videos
While the camera's internals are good, the M100 suffers from a sometimes soft and slow kit lens; It also lacks 4K video recording (unlike most smartphones); And, while the touchscreen is quite responsive, it's harder to access the camera's more advanced features, which may frustrate more-experienced...
Been using this camera now for up to 6 months, and I love it a great small camera for travel the the photographs are stunning , I also use it with the new esm32 mm 1.4 lens well worth a look
Flexible and easy to use Canon menu system
Ok for price
It is a better camera than a smartphone but it lacks ergonomic design. I found it to be a bit uncomfortable to hold. If you want to record videos from yourself on a tripod, it has great quality. Otherwise, don't buy if your primary objective is photography
This is a good entry level camera. User friendly and compact. I was disappointed the screen had fingermarks on it, out of the box, indicating to me it had been handled before bought it, supposedly brand new when I purchased it online.
I have been researching for a new camera for a while now and, finally settled on the Canon EOS M100 primarily due to the larger sensor size and small form factor. I also purchased an adapter separately from Amazon in order to use my old Olympus OM-1 manual lens with this camera. So far, so good.
Excellent compact version mirrorless version of a DSLR. Fully functioning as if a larger DSLR - which I understand it is based. Few external controls but all controls and settings can be accessed via the available buttons and touch screen.
Hands-on review: Canon's new entry-level mirrorless camera is aiming for lots of likes...
24.2MP Dual Pixel CMOS sensor; Beginner-friendly approach
No electronic viewfinder; Few external controls
The Canon EOS M100 replaces the M10 and features a 24 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, Full HD video recording, a 3inch tilting touch-screen, creative filters, and numerous shooting modes to make it easy to shoot with. The M100 has an RRP of £449 body only.
Excellent colour reproduction; Compact camera; Compact lenses available; Easy to use touch-screen; Built-in Wi-Fi and NFC
No panoramic mode; Limited external controls; Price seems high; Plastic feel
