I love canon this camera

This camera is the master of all crop sensors and one cannot imagine better than this. Auto focus is fast at most of lighting conditions. Build quality is rugged. There are several options for video, specially 60fps at 1080 resolution. There is a healthy competition from Nikon with model d7200

Canon 7D Mark II DSLR Camera Body 7DIIB2 review

The fixed LCD and lack of built-in wireless file transfer support may make some people cross it off their short list, but the Canon EOS 7D Mark II should please any Canon fan looking for speed.
Pros:
  • Preserving its familiar and weather-sealed design
  • the 7D Mark II builds on the best of its predecessor: it's speedy with excellent photo and video quality
  • GPS
  • a flexible autofocus system and a big
  • bright viewfinder.
Cons:
  • No tilting or articulated display makes shooting video without a rig annoying
  • and it lacks built-in Wi-Fi.

Canon EOS 7D Mark II review: A great enthusiast dSLR gets better, but it's still missing some pieces

The fixed LCD and lack of built-in wireless file transfer support may make some people cross it off their short list, but the Canon EOS 7D Mark II should please any Canon fan looking for speed. I was a big fan of the original Canon EOS 7D and eagerly awaited the 7D Mark II. And once it shipped, I was struck by how much the competition had changed in the interim, as well as the fact that I liked -- and disliked -- the same things about both models. So while the Mark II is a great camera with significantly improved performance and a few new features, including GPS, dual card slots and expanded video frame- and bitrates, important holes remain, like an articulated LCD and Wi-Fi.

Absolute ripper of a DSLR

Just started using my new Canon EOS 7D MKII, an update to my 60D & 70D. I thought the 70D was fantastic but was blown away by the 7D MKII. Blisteringly fast Auto Focus and 10 frames per second, it's a machine gun after the 70D's "mere" 7 frames per second.

The 7D MKII is a great camera, having owned the orginal 7D, the improvements really stand out and are very much appreciated. The new body feels very comfortable, button layout is slightly changed but easy to learn.

Canon 7D Mark II DSLR Camera Body 7DIIB2 review

Although I've largely moved from Canon on Landscape and Architecture to the Sony A7R, the 7DII remains my favorite for Birds, Wildlife and Action. This is absolutely awesome when paired with the 100-400 Mk II or the 70-200L 2.8 IS.
Pros:
  • Fast Focusing
  • Great Usability and Handling
  • the Camera for Birders
  • Wildlife and Sports - especially good with the new 100-400 Mk II
Cons:
  • I would like a little better Dynamic Range
  • especially pulling up detail from dark feathers

An absolutely superb camera!

For the last 2 years I have been looking to upgrade my Canon 50d. I have tried the 5D Mark III; the 60d, and others, but I first tried the 7D Mark II after hearing how well it performed photographing birds and wildlife, one of my passions.
Pros:
  • Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus
  • Fast Shutter Speed
  • Good Image Quality
  • Good Image Stabilization
  • High ISO Performance
  • Large Clear LCD
  • Quiet
