Outstanding APS-C sensor camera - especially for under $2000

It is clear Canon made a few sacrifices in order to get other features in the 7D Mark II. First, they still went with the APS-C crop sensor. It isn't horrible and saves a lot of money.
Pros:
  • Very fast burst mode
  • focusing is fantastic (especially auto focus tracking)
  • many options to custom tailor the camera to your needs
  • great high ISO
Cons:
  • No Wifi
  • No vertical holding mode without the battery grip
  • fixed LCD can be a bummer at times
