The 7D is a spectacular camera for general use, while the 7D Mark II is much, much better for sports. For nature and landscapes I'd go the extra cost for the 5D Mark II in a heartbeat, but for action in reasonable light, the 7D is an awesome camera.

The Canon EOS 7D is the manufacturer's flagship APS-C camera. Designed to rival cameras such as the , it combines a high megapixel count with a reasonable price tag. In many respects, this camera can even rival and, if you don't need a full frame camera, you'd be hard pressed to find a reason to buy...

A great camera at a good price . Not the latest model , but a good solid camera . Half the price of the latest model ,but good enough for any enthusiast.
I purchased this camera twice. The first time I bought a refurbished copy from my local store in 2013, I had the camera for 6 months and found that the AF was wonky. I calibrated all my lenses (by FoCal) right after I bought the camera (along with a used 135L).
Canon is nice company which make high pixel camera.HD photo view visible great inventories by canon actually I wanted this type camera to click my photo where ever I visit for picnic or anywhere else. Its clarity is awesome and having nice features.
The camera was fine, but the battery was non-functioning and one of the lenses is after-market and will not fit. It will cost additional money for us to even know if the camera works as advertised.
It is best in camera quality pictures and look. but its noise level is high. apart from this all thing are good. its look is good, easy to handle and easy to care. battery backup is also good and its zoom is perfect.

Shooting with the 7D MKII was immediately intuitive and natural: operation, balance and appearance are similar to my old 7D. While it felt like an old friend in my hands, the 65-point AF array is what got me to lay down my hard earned cash.
The shutter sound is softer than the original 7D but louder than a 6D; Silent drive mode fades operation to pianissimo, but with slower performance, making it ideal for ceremonies
The only AF nitpick thus far is my existing lenses needed micro adjustment (calibration) for optimal sharpness; Oddly, most of these same lenses were fine at default on my old 7D
Great Canon EOS 7D body to match the 18-200 mm lens purchased at the same time. A great combination and I am having fun with the body and lens!
