Canon EOS 7D Review / Test Report
Canon has pretty much dominated the full format DSLR arena for several years but they suffered a couple of hefty blows from Nikon in the APS-C segment during the last few years. Canon was able to respond in the low end market but they didn't really offer any direct competitor to Nikon D200/D300(s)...
Pros:
- outstanding build quality, high resolution combined with decent dynamic range, superb viewfinder (for an APS-C DSLR) inc
- super-imposable grid lines, full HD (1080p @ 30 fps) movie mode, dual axis electronic level, excellent battery life
Cons:
- "average" high-ISO performance
- AWB (auto-white balancing) could be better in artificial light conditions

Canon EOS 7D
As a smaller sibling to the 5D Mark II, it was the video capabilities that created the buzz around the EOS 7D. Pros:
- Good image quality
- 8 fps shooting
- HD video
Cons:
- Cost
- 72 dpi image output

Canon EOS 7D camera
The Canon EOS 7D is one of the newest digital SLRs from Canon . It is aimed at semi-professionals and has several extra features compared to the cheaper digital SLRs. Of course, which improvements you'll be willing to pay the extra money for will be different for different photographers.

Pentax announces the new K-5 DSLR today (September 20, 2010), a year and four months after the announcement of the K-7 (announced May 20, 2009).
