The next step up for keen semi-enthusiasts
A firm and well built camera with a range of features for those keen photographers with a range of experience and knowledge. It allows someone to build up their talent with the camera, has a great specification range which allows users to self teach.
Pros:
- Good battery life
- Quiet
- Nice features/settings
- Quick Start-up time
- Excellent image quality
- Superior build quality

I wasn't aware it took a CF card instead of the usual SD card although some places don't sell these cards yet it doesn't go against the product!

Awesome camera for the price
I use this with a Sigma 50mm prime to shoot portraits, with the Canon 10-22mm wide angle to shoot landscapes and starscapes, with a 70-200L to shoot sporting events and with a 24-105L for macro and walk-around shots. The 24-105L is my least favorite.
Pros:
- Still fairly small compared to a full-frame camera so it's easier to take it with you
- Durable, tons of available lenses, great low light, decent video, fast, great quality shots
- Has up to 30 second automatic shutter speed, and a bulb mode to take super-long exposures if you're into star trails
Cons:
- You must manually focus during video recording
- Uses a crop sensor (a pro and a con depending on your needs.) Not as easy to learn to use as an entry-level camera, because it gives you the feature set of a professional level camera on the entry-level 1.6x crop sensor

Amazing setup!!
This camera setup is amazing!! The picture quality is amazing compared to other cameras i've used. The speed of the 7D is fast enough to catch whatever your shooting, i don't regret buying this at all! I love this thing!!

Best camera i've ever had.
I bought the Canon 7D with the 18-135mm lens and it is simply the best camera i've ever had. I take surfing photos and with the 8fps I dont miss a thing. I've also got the 70-300 is usm lens to get a little closer. The full auto mode is great but it's fun creating your own in manual mode.

Canon Slr No Word Simply...
ONE of my favorite camera I had the opportunity to use CANON EOS 7D SLR and i must it was an amazing experience to use it. It gives crystal clear picture Quality Being a amateur photographer myself, I can say without any doubt that this one is a photographer's joy.
