- Quick Start-up time
- Superior build quality
- Lightweight/Portable
- Simple controls/menu

Canon EOS 7D SLR Body itself is a great product and when you get discounts and freebies on its purchase, it becomes great. I read about this camera and bought it through Snapdeal.

Canon EOS 7D
The $1,699 (list, body only) 18-megapixel Canon EOS 7D takes beautiful pictures-in a wide variety of lighting situations. But the true lure of the Canon 7D is that it's the only sub-$2,000 D-SLR that offers a multitude of high-definition video-capture options.
Pros:
- Excellent still-image and HD-video quality
- Fast performance
- Various HD video recording options
Cons:
- Pricey
- Video recording is not as simple as with a dedicated camcorder

Canon EOS 7D
Generally a stunning camera, but needs to be used on RAW to make full use of the excellent CMOS chip, as the JPEGs can be unreliable

Review: Canon EOS 7D
Maybe you're tired of using a crappy point-and-shoot. Or, maybe you feel like you've outgrown your awesome, yet dated, PowerShot G9. Maybe you're just looking to strap up a full-featured DSLR. Canon's newest 7D is the way to go. There's no maybe about it.
Pros:
- Solid build and weatherproofing with pro-style feel in hand
- Frame rate is sport-shooter ready
- Wireless control of external Speedlite flashes
- 8 frames per second in RAW makes us swoon
Cons:
- Noisy pop-up flash motor
- Quick-control dial on the back of the camera takes more effort to turn than previous Canon models
- Auto white balance in artificial light is bronze-medal worthy at best

Even after several years of use, still a great camera
I know that the 70D is now on the market and Canon made some improvements; however, I have been using this camera for several years and it continues to perform perfectly. With 18 MP the 7D is still at the higher end of the range for DSLR's, the 8FPS rate is respectable (the new 70D does 7FPS) and it...

EOS 7D all in one photo video solution
I use this for taking HDRI images for use in 3D renders.. the 8fps is great for that. I also use it with a macro lens to shot stop motion with Dragon Stopmotion and the Live mode allows me to use the 7D as I would a high end Video cam, but with way more lens possibilities.
Pros:
- Good Image Quality
- Quiet
- Easy To Use
