With the release of the 7D, Canon hasn't so much updated any of its existing cameras as carved out a new niche, creating what the company describes as an "all-rounder" that ostensibly targets the prosumer sports-orientated shooter.

Great Camera by Canon, Great Delivery by Flipkart!

7D is a formidable camera by any standards. Whatever comparisons one may draw to 60D or 600D none of them can match the feel of 7D in your hands. While I had done enough research on the camera, I was pleasantly surprised by the delivery and service of Flipkart.

If you expect a huge difference in overall image quality between the EOS 40D, EOS 50D and EOS 7D, you'd probably be somewhat disappointed, but that's not what the EOS 7D is really about. In terms of ergonomics and features, the 7D is clearly ahead of the other EOS crop sensor cameras.

Canon 7D Review

For a long time with Canon, if you weren't dropping nearly three grand on a 5D , you were stuck with a vastly lesser DSLR. The $US1700 7D is Canon's first semi-pro DSLR, and actually it's my favourite yet.

The 7D is one of those things you'll buy and never ever regret, I was genuine about buying and the staff gave me an awesome deal (better than everyone) I'm so happy with it all I strongly recommend the replacement warranty, it a peace of mind.

Canon 7D – Review – 33

Tim Grey loves Canon's new dSLR but hankers after a full-frame sensor You'd need about eight frames per second to capture the rate of camera development. When you're choosing a new kit, you've either got to steel yourself for your new camera's almost instantaneous obsolescence, or be prepared to...

Superfast 8 frames per second shooting; Spiffy new AF system; Sterling HD video capabilities; Impressive ISO performance

1.6x magnification via crop sensor; Weird placement of AF button

A great camera, but 6D?

I purchased this camera about a year and a half ago when your choices were 60D, 7D, or 5D Mark II. Moving up from an entry level DSLR, I opted for the middle of the pack 7D. I liked it's versatile package, great build quality, and overall value.

Good frame burst (listed as 8, more like 7); Build quality is excellent

Poor high ISO performance (compared to new models); uses expensive CF cards instead of cheap SD cards; annoying and mostly useless poppy uppy flash
