The $2,000 price-point is a fascinating one for DSLRs and ILCs, with a bounty of excellent choices, whether it be Olympus' flagship OM-D E-M1 Mark II, Nikon's flagship APS-C-sensor D500, or this entry-level Full Frame EOS 6Dii.

Affordable Full Frame performance; Access to a deep stable of exceptional Canon EF glass; Excellent color and contrast reproduction; Very Good ISO performance; Vari-angle & touchscreen useful for odd angles; More amenities than the previous generation; Versatile Auto Focus systems (optical & Live...

Slower & less rugged than flagship mirrorless systems; Lacks 4K Video Recording; No in-body image stabilization

Canon EOS 6D Mark II review: Another well-rounded Canon DSLR

Enthusiasts looking for a robust and well-specified digital SLR will find much to like about the latest full-frame model from Canon

Neat design layout; Excellent 3in LCD monitor; Fast and responsive autofocus system

No integral flash; Autofocus struggles when tracking moving subjects; Full HD; rather than 4K; the highest resolution available

Canon EOS 6D Mark II: Functional Full-Frame DSLR

Thanks to the relatively affordable price of the Canon EOS 6D Mark II, it's easier than ever for photographers to move into a full-frame DSLR.

Touch Screen; Fully articulated LCD; Solid battery life; Improved AF system; Faster-than-average Live View and movie AF

No 4K video; Limited AF point coverage in viewfinder; Single SD card slot; UHS-1 speed support only; Does not support EF-S lenses

Having upgraded from the original 6d I was familiar with the camera right out of the box. The new camera is incredible. The flipout touch screne is INSANELY AWESOME!! I went out to a bird nest these morning, raised the camera above my head, touched the focus point I wanted and clicked off several...

The camera is awesome and had no issues with it.

Very fast and trustworthy delivery. Camera looks perfect. One thing tho if you buy this camera bare in mind that you will need a lens and for full frame they are pretty expensive. It's better if you buy the camera with the lens included (it's cheaper). If you have lenses it's good.

First full frame camera

This camera was an upgrade to a full frame camera from my previous cropped sensor Canon EOS600D. The 6D mk11 offers a significant improvement in technology and functionality. Easy to obtain great results with semi automatic modes and plenty of creative modes that can be customized by the more...

Canon EOS 6D Mark II review

The EOS 6D Mark II is a major step forward from the original 6D, but more in operational speed and performance than outright image quality. It's a terrific camera to use, but its price puts it up against a number of strong cameras.

Fast Dual Pixel live view AF; Great vari-angle rear touchscreen; Handling; build and controls

No 4K video; Image quality hasn't moved on; Only one card slot

Canon EOS 6D Mark II review

Canon 6D Mark II moves forward, but still lags behind the competition

Articulating touchscreen; Dual Pixel Autofocus in live view; Fast; 45-point viewfinder autofocus; Good high ISO performance; 6.5 fps continuous shooting

No 4K video; No advanced video settings; Limited base ISO dynamic range; 2 fps bursts with continuous AF in live view
