I love this camera. After owning it for about 2 months i can say that it does everything very well. I went back to using my old 500d and could not believe how useful the touch screen functionality is.
Almost everything
No double tap to zoom
Love my camera. There are so many to choose from so it's hard to know which is "best". I love this one. The auto mode does a great job so you instantly get so much better pictures and have that professional touch to them. The colours, contrast and tones to the pictures are vibrant and jut stunning.
This was an upgrade from my 1100D a big step in the right direction for me as I am on a tight budget. However i really tested it at my nieces wedding and I have to say that the images were brilliant, out and indoors.
You're thinking of getting the 650d, reading the reviews, comparing it to the 600d and countless others and pulling your hair out at all the pros and cons? Am I close. I'm a photographer and have used this, the 600d and its sony equivalent. I might be able to help.
I purchased this camera kit during the extended boxing day sales as an upgrade to my Canon T1i. For picture taking I didn't find the T4i to be much of an improvement over the T1i, but I was impressed with the other features/improvements.
Everyday I am amazed by the Quality & Performance of this DSLR. Bought on Special but would have been woth the full price, Also bought a 40mm STM lens to go with it.
As one of my first cameras, i got to say this one was a great camera overall. Very easy to use, and the touch screen was a very convenient feature added to the model.
High quality rugged feel; tilting touch screen LCD; high stills and video resolution; razor sharp images with image stabilised 18-135mm lens; good jack of all trades DSLR

Pricey for the beginners; no anti shake built into the camera body itself
The EOS 650D sits between the EOS 600D and the EOS 60D in Canon's digital SLR rage and it's classed as an entry-level model. There is nothing entry-level about its capabilities though: it's fast thanks to the inclusion of a DiG!
Fast performance; Good usability; Accurate focusing
Optical viewfinder leaves out some edge details; Slight over-exposure in auto modes; Touchscreen is unnecessary
