Canon EOS 650D review
While the EOS 650D offers little significant advantage in image quality over the 600D, the viewfinder AF and overall performance are better, and the clever touch-screen control system works extremely well, allowing you to really make the most of an excellent camera.
Pros:
- Touch-screen controls
- Performance
- Handling
- Image quality
Cons:
- Slow live view AF
- High-ISO noise

Camera Test: Canon EOS Rebel T4i
Canon continues to make the top of its Rebel line just what it needs to be. As video has been the main theme in DSLRs this year, the new, more robust AF system is a welcome addition, as is the stereo microphone.

Canon EOS 650D
Clever use of a touchscreen display and a vast improvement to autofocus performance on video and stills makes the 650D the best all-rounder for amateurs

The EOS Rebel T4i (from $849) is Canon's latest entry-level digital SLR, and the replacement to last year's Rebel T3i. The biggest change on the new T4i is related to autofocus.

Canon's Rebel T4i represents a middle ground between bargain-bin DSLRs and enthusiast models.
This is not a camera that inspires strong feelings, yet it's mostly very reliable (sometimes, vanilla is the flavor you want). On the handling front, Canon's Rebel-series cameras have always been notoriously easy for beginners to pick up and use, and the T4i is no exception.

brilliant camera , great for video
You're thinking of getting the 650d, reading the reviews, comparing it to the 600d and countless others and pulling your hair out at all the pros and cons? Am I close. I'm a photographer and have used this, the 600d and its sony equivalent. I might be able to help.

I was very pleased with the service I received and the speed with which it was delivered. Value was amazing! Some of the accessories were of lesser quality - but still amazing value.

Canon EOS 650D review
EOS cameras have an enviable reputation, and it sometimes feels like Canon doesn't have to try too hard to maintain healthy sales. Last year's Canon EOS 600D was a relatively conservative update, with an articulated screen and wireless flash control but little else to tempt upgraders.

As an older person I find the controls difficult for older stiffer fingers ans the controls at the back too close to thumb area when shooting . Other than that I am very happy having previously used a a 300d and now upgraded a bit, love Canon products .
Pros:
- Good battery life
- Quiet
- Nice features/settings
- Quick Start-up time
- Excellent image quality
- Bright LCD
- Solid Operation
- Lightweight/Portable
Cons:
- Difficult to use
- Complicated controls/menu
