Even after two years...
It's hard to believe it's been around two years already, since the Canon EOS 60D came out into the market. Since then, I've been using the product extensively for professional filming work in my home city.- Nice features/settings
- Lightweight/Portable
- Easy to use
- Dim LCD
Cannon 60D a def. Upgrade!
Got this for Christmas! My husband reseached this camera. I really wanted the 7D but the difference between the two was not significant...only the price. Takes very clear pictures.
Wow! what a great upgrade!
I bought this to upgrade from my original Digital Rebel. Holy cow, what an upgrade! Besides the obvious capability of video taking, the camera is way more feature-rich. The 18-200 lens, while it is a little on the bulky side, is one of the best "walking around" lenses you can get.- Easy To Use
- Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus
- Fast Shutter Speed
- Good Image Quality
- Good Image Stabilization
- Great lens
- High ISO Performance
- Large Clear LCD
- Quiet
- Tilt /Swivel LCD
"Canon 60d is amazingly flawless!"
I wanted to try the canon 60d to start seriously making videos, and maybe take a couple of pictures, but the camera got me hooked. I had some prior experience with photography, but never video. It was all new to me but the Menu formats were so easy to master.- Vari Angle LCD
- 18.0 MP
- Live View Mode
- Full HD
- 3 inch LCD
- ISO 6400
- 5:3 fps
- shooting inside with no outside light gives an orangeish color
- but that might be my crappy lens
Canon EOS 60D – Review
For a while now, I've had a feeling that the megapixel (MP) counts of digital cameras were headed straight down. I assumed that manufacturers would see sense and offer lower resolution sensors with better high-ISO performance, instead of pushing for more pixels.- High-resolution sensor
- Good high-ISO performance
- Marvellous image quality
- Vari-angle LCD
- Minor ergonomic issues
- Kit lens doesn't look as good as the camera
Great Camera Great Service Great Price
With the Price drop from ABT I was finally able to afford this unit. It SMOKES my 2 other (older) Canon Digital SLR units. The large screen makes it SO MUCH easier to do a quick check for what you shot. The large screen may even give you an IDEA to move a subject or yourselt to improve your shot.- Easy To Use
- Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus
- Fast Shutter Speed
- Good Image Quality
- High ISO Performance
- Large Clear LCD
- Tilt /Swivel LCD
- None
Canon EOS 60D Black SLR Digital Camera
I love cannon with excellent 3:2, 3 inch, 1.04 million dot screen. The T4i is supposedly better with video. They have the same sensor so the picture quality is going to be great. I was on the fence between the 60d and the T4i.- same sensor so the picture quality is going to be great
- It's not as light as I expected
Power packed for advanced beginners
Been few days since I brought this camera, I got it from a local shop for much less and ended up getting it along with a 50mm F/1.8 lens for 62k For a first impression the camera feels sturdy, although a bit heavy at 755 grams but once you get used to it, you feel like you are holding a point and
Like it!
Would like more options available to user when using Live View option. Great speed. Great camera. Pretty heavy camera for the casual photographer.- Easy To Use
- Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus
- Fast Shutter Speed
- Good Image Quality
- Good Image Stabilization
- High ISO Performance
- Large Clear LCD
- Quiet
- Lack Of View Options
- Poor Focus In Lower Light
- Poor In Low Light
