Canon EOS 60D with 18-135mm lens review

Superior ergonomics – particularly the bigger viewfinder and articulated screen – make this a shrewd choice for Canon upgraders willing to look beyond the 550D.

Poor camera in virtually all respects

Fortunately I didn't buy this camera but had one loaned for two weeks. I did not like it one bit. Ergonomically it was poor and I had to keep using the menu for things that should have been more directly available.

Canon EOS 60D Review

At Rs. 77,195 with a basic kit lens thrown in, the EOS 60D is expensive, considering the EOS 550D will give you close to the same results at a much lower price. The 7D is also only slightly more expensive, and we see many opting for the more professional body and definitely superior build and...
Pros:
  • Great image quality from a proven sensor
  • Very good low light performance
  • ISO 800 is usable
  • Good battery life
Cons:
  • 7D still has a slight edge in low light and a bigger one in focussing
  • Build quality no where near 7D levels
  • Pricing is on the higher side
  • Ergonomics are mediocre
