A nice camera - fits right in between the Rebel series and 7D
Update: With the release of the T4i, this review needs a short addendum, which I will add to the end. The newest addition to Canon's XXD line might initially seem like a minor downgrade to the previous XXD cameras, but several new capabilities actually help make this a nice, well-featured camera...

Canon EOS 60D
A DSLR camera for photo enthusiasts who also want to be able to record Full HD video clips.Replacing the popular EOS 50D, Canon's new EOS 60D sits between the EOS 550D and EOS 7D and appears to have the same sensor as its 'siblings'.
Pros:
- You want a capable DSLR camera with a 1.6x crop factor sensor and the ability to use a wide range of lenses
- You'd enjoy the Creative Filter effects
- You'd like the ability to shoot both still pictures and HD video clips with the same camera and would appreciate the jack for fitting a stereo

Canon EOS 60D
The 60D is ideal for anyone looking for a video-enabled SLR who wasn't familiar with the 50D or earlier line of cameras. But if you were looking for an upgrade you might be left wondering what Canon did to your faithful product line and why this camera feels a bit like a souped-up 550D, or a...
Pros:

- Creative filters are fun

EOS 60D
The Canon EOS 60D is great for anyone looking for a mid-range camera. It isn't as powerful as the high-end EOS 7D but the 60D shoots great pictures even at ISO levels as high as 1,600. Autofocus in generally fast although it is a tad slower in Live View mode.
Pros:
- : Good picture quality
- decent ISO performance
- HD video recording
- articulated LCD screen
Cons:
- : Lacks dedicated video recording button
- slow autofocus speed in Live View mode
- slow burst shooting mode

Canon EOS 60D Review
What a difference two years makes in DSLR Land. The replacement for 2008's 50D, the new Canon EOS 60D not only has more resolution, higher ISO capability and the ability to take Full HD videos, it even has a swivel LCD screen. Given all these improvements, the price happily remains the same.
Pros:
- Excellent color accuracy
- You can actually shoot at 12,800 ISO
- Vari-angle LCD a real plus
- Superior battery life
Cons:
- Still not a fan of DSLR HD video
- focusing is a hassle, "Warm" indoor images with Auto White Balance, Puzzling Multi-control dial
