Please watch the video full-screen and at the highest resolution. (I had a hot chocolate just before the video, so my apologies. That's HD for you.)I've been taking a few shots with my new Canon EOS 600d / Digital Rebel T3i over the last few days, you know, the usual thing, nipping out at lunch from...

One of the most value for money DSLRs to come in a long time. To those who know what they are after in a DSLR, what they want out of a DSLR, this model has a lot to offer, and is a refreshing solution to their needs.

Incomparable entry level DSLR; Nothing like it, The price offering is just unbelievable, Value for money, Comes with FREE wireless transmitter, Slightly larger ergonomics and shape than the sister 550D making it better to hold

The focusing points on the viewfinder look like dirt spots; Really; There is this thin square line which is the AF sensor; then a dirt spot in the middle; All nine of them; Whoever conceived of using this dirt spot as a focusing point for Canon cameras should be fired by Canon; It is so annoying; it...

Canon 's EOS 600D combines the ease-of-use of the company's entry-level EOS 1100D, but adds to it a host of features that will take you way beyond the beginner level.

What I expected

This camera takes beautiful pictures when I do everything right. Still learning some of the tricks with indoor shots. Video is good, but another learning curve for me, using this setup. Would recommend this camera to others. Just take the time to play with it and learn how things work.

Canon Rebel T3i Review

The Rebel T3i continues the tradition of the entry-level line of Canon DSLRs by staying at the top of the pile – although, it is closely surrounded by the likes of the Nikon D5100 and the T3i's bigger, badder brother, the 60D .

Lab Test: Canon EOS Rebel T3i

While the T3i doesn't come across as a major upgrade to the T2i, it's a thoughtful addition to the line and keeps Canon competitive with the likes of the long-in-the-tooth Nikon D5000. Though due for an upgrade, that Nikon now has no major advantage over Canon at this level of camera body.

Ahead of the CP+ camera show in Japan the week of Feb. 7, 2011, Canon announced two new DSLRs and two new Speedlites. The Canon EOS Digital Rebel T3i is pretty much the basics of the T2i (same 18MP CMOS sensor, AF and metering system) but with the tilt and swivel LCD screen of the EOS 60D added,...
