Canon EOS 600D review

Updates to Canon's popular range of consumer-level digital SLRs always make waves, and the new EOS 600D is no exception. Slotting in at the top end of Canon's entry-level line-up, it ‘makes capturing exciting, fun and creative images easier than ever', the company brags.

Excellent sensor and great high-ISO quality; articulating LCD screen is bright and detailed; some improvements over the EOS 550D

Some menu options hard to find; layout of controls could be better

Canon EOS Rebel T3I Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm & 55-250 IS II Lens Bundle

First, the camera is excellent and I recommend it hands down. Some of the other items are also fantastic and provide a decent set up off the bat. I really enjoy the extra batteries, additional grip, additional lens, case, tripods (you get two), and Class 10 memory card.

Formally announced on February 7 and available in early March 2011, the Canon EOS Rebel T3i (henceforth T3i) becomes the company's flagship entry-level model and is accompanied to market by a budget-priced T3 variant as well.

Movable monitor; Excellent image and color quality; Excellent high ISO noise performance for a cropped sensor; Good video image quality

Slow AF acquisition time in video and Live View; No continuous AF in video mode; Low battery life in Live View shooting

I am happy with my camera, it allows me to easily do what I want. Although it is heavy with the lens on but it's just something I need to get used to.

Great Camera,but problems w/18-55mm lens

We bought this camera back in Nov. 2012 for our own Christmas present. I enjoy taking portraits and my husbands enjoys landscape photography. This camera works well for both. My favorite thing is the speed. This camera is way faster than my backup Powershot Pro1 (which has a bad shutter lag).

Clear images; Fast shutter

Canon EOS 600D EF-S 18-55 IS II Kit review

The Canon EOS 600D is the latest in a line of cameras that has dominated the consumer SLR market since its inception in 2003. Its predecessor, the 550D, introduced an 18-megapixel sensor, an improved metering system and significant improvements to video capture.

Canon EOS Rebel T3i Review

It's time to really shake off the winter blahs and take some photos and video with the new Canon T3i DSLR. Is it worth the trip outdoors? We charge the battery and find out in our full review below, so read on.

Fine 18-megapixel images; Excellent 3-inch vari-angle LCD; Full HD video at 30 fps; 3.7 fps at full resolution

Tends to run warm indoors; Video is good but focusing is cumbersome; No burst mode in A+ auto
