Canon EOS 600D review: An entry-level digital SLR that's got impressive specs
The Canon EOS 600D is an entry-level digital SLR camera sporting an 18-megapixel sensor, a supposedly amateur-friendly control interface and menu, and a 3in articulating LCD screen. In our testing we found it could take excellent pictures and very high quality 1080p video, but the controls aren't as...
Pros:
- Excellent sensor and great high ISO quality
- articulating LCD screen is bright and detailed
- some smart improvements from the EOS 550D
Cons:
- Requires menu-surfing to find some options
- the control layout isn't as streamlined as we think it could be

Great overall device
I am quite happy with the Rebel T3i. There is nothing negative to say really regarding quality of photos, which is great. However if I had to be critical I would say the autofocus drains the battery quite quickly.
Pros:
- Photo quality
Cons:
- Battery Life

Canon EOS 600D
Canon's new low to mid-range DSLR is essentially a 550D with a flip out screen but that's precisely why it's so good.

Canon 's EOS 600D combines the ease-of-use of the company's entry-level EOS 1100D, but adds to it a host of features that will take you way beyond the beginner level.

Great Camera,but problems w/18-55mm lens
We bought this camera back in Nov. 2012 for our own Christmas present. I enjoy taking portraits and my husbands enjoys landscape photography. This camera works well for both. My favorite thing is the speed. This camera is way faster than my backup Powershot Pro1 (which has a bad shutter lag).
Pros:
- Clear images
- Fast shutter
Cons:
- Small Lens Has Problems

Great camera but replace the memory card asap...
The Canon Rebel T3i is my first DSLR camera. That said I will say that the instructional DVD is very helpful in understanding the settings and many features of the camera. Just from learning to use the camera I've taken some incredible pictures.
Pros:
- great pictures easy to use dvd is very useful for beginners
Cons:
- memory card is low quality

Great DIgital SLR Camera
On my old camera, simply, a sony cyber-shot I wasn't getting very clear pictures but it was amazing on the Digital SLR camera how clear and crisp the pictures I got were. The camera was nice, a bit bulky and heavy but not to bad.
