Canon 's EOS 600D combines the ease-of-use of the company's entry-level EOS 1100D, but adds to it a host of features that will take you way beyond the beginner level.
This camera takes beautiful pictures when I do everything right. Still learning some of the tricks with indoor shots. Video is good, but another learning curve for me, using this setup. Would recommend this camera to others. Just take the time to play with it and learn how things work.
