I love this camera. I had a rebel before. I am in school now for photography and went straight to this. I am happy I didn't go with a lower end camera.

I own a Canon 7D, Canon 5D Mark II and a Canon G16 this camera Canon 5D Mark III is awesome I love all my Canon products. Low light no problem for this camera fast shutter speed frame rate detail amazing just can go on and on.....

The 5d3 is a serious upgrade over the 5d2. It improves the 5d2 in nearly every department. The main improvements are to the cameras reliability- if you need a camera that just works, every time, then previously that meant a 1 series camera, now it can be extended to the 5d3 as well.

Upgraded from a 7D which is a great DSLR but the image quality of the 5D MkIII is absolutely fantastic. Incredibly clear and has great low light capabilities. The autofocus is amazing in all modes & so quick to change. Best decision I have made to upgrade.

The 5D Mark III is a beautifully crafted piece of camera gear. It is big, not huge, so it is also a commitment you have to make if you plan to carry it around all day. The menu is extensive but easy to handle, especially when you use the two different wheels for navigation.

This camera is nice to have, but if you're a portrait photographer that only shoots people and events get the 6D. I have it as a back up and the camera can perform better than the 5d MK3 any day on lowlight. I shot the 5d MK3 at 6400 iso and the pictures are way grainier than the 6D.

I upgraded from Canon 70D, and I am very pleased with this camera. It is everything I thought it would be and more!

The black autofocus points problem is supposed to be fixed in a future firmware release, basically they flash black instead of red which is hard (impossible) to see in low light.
