Canon 4000d Black - BRAND NEW review

I bought this camera a little while ago to learn about photography, and this camera has done just that. It’s very easy to use, light weight and I have had very good results with the kit lens. It also came with a 75-300 lens which is also very good. Glad I bought it and I would highly recommend it.

Canon 4000d review

The Canon EOS 4000D (as known in the UK) or Rebel T100 (USA) represents a bygone era of ultra-cheap entry-level DSLR cameras. It’s getting harder to find new but the bargain prices make it one of the best Canon DSLRs for those on a tight budget. Find out how it performs in our full review.

Canon 4000d Black - BRAND NEW review

The most budget-friendly DSLR currently available, Canon is a popular choice for beginners. The 4000D manages this price by sacrificing some of the construction quality. However, it can still pack a punch, thanks to a tried and tested 18MP APS-C sensor, borrowed from the popular 1300D.

Canon 4000d Black - BRAND NEW review

I am still learning how to fully enjoy this camera, i did some nice photos already. My advice is download a full manual to help you figure out all the features. it will help to look at you tube tips as well. I am happy with my purchase. Cant wait to go on holiday and take some lovely pictures.

Canon 4000d Black - BRAND NEW review

If anyone can build a brilliant budget DSLR, Canon can – but the EOS 4000D struggles against classy rivals and second-hand alternatives

Takes good quality photos

Low-resolution LCD display is horribly cramped, Sluggish autofocus and burst rate, No touchscreen

Canon 4000d Black - BRAND NEW review

With most of the EOS Rebel T100 / EOS 4000D made up of components from the parts bin for long-superseded Canon DSLRs, there's really nothing much to recommend this camera over rival entry-level DSLRs, apart, perhaps, from the price.

Easy to use, Logically laid-out controls, Decent battery life, Low price

Dated 9-point AF, Small and low-resolution screen, Only 3fps burst shooting, Plastic finish and lens mount, No touchscreen

Canon 4000d Black - BRAND NEW review

The Canon EOS 4000D is a minor downgrade to the EOS 1300D, offering fewer features, and lower specifications, so if you want a budget DSLR from Canon, then buy the 1300D while you still can.

Wi-Fi built-in, Good colour reproduction, Decent ergonomics, Easy to use, Decent battery life, Auto White Balance options of warm or white

Disappointing ISO range, with poor noise control, Only 3fps continuous shooting, Lacks auto-HDR shooting, Horribly slow live view focusing, Plastic lens mount will worry some, Poor kit lens, with chromatic aberrations, and no IS

Canon 4000d Black - BRAND NEW review

Canon has stripped back the production costs of the EOS 4000D to the bare minimum to make it as affordable as possible. This is to attract new photographers to the interchangeable lens market and Canon’s system with its extensive range of optics and accessories.
