For what it is and whom it's intended for, Canon's EOS Rebel T5 is a decent budget DSLR. Yet, it leaves us wanting more.

A lower quality sensor makes for average image quality

This is a great camera for someone like me who is starting to delve into the world of DSLR. I used a basic Minolta many years ago and have forgotten most of what I know so the amount I saved over the T5i is worth it to me.

Great pictures for a beginner, fast focus, dual lenses came with mine so I can shoot close or telephoto; Easy to use with auto mode or your settings

No auto focus on video, no wifi or other way to connect to tv to view pictures but you can buy an adapter; Does not have true wireless triggering

I bought this bundle as a gift for a family member who wanted to get into photography on trips, travel etc. Right after the box was opened we immediately took a trip. This camera worked amazing! Very simple to use, great resolution and having all the accessories was an awesome addition!

Let me just say this camera is so amazing!!!! I have bought so many crappy cameras and this was just a great birthday present. I've been trying to find a good camera for YouTube and let me say if I had to buy any other camera for sure it would be a canon DSLR;)

The camera is good for those of photographers but if you were planning on recording w video like me. I wouldn't recommend it. .

My friends at Consumer Reports led me to believe the T5 and the T5i were quite similar, except for the articulating LCD which I now believe is a real convenience at times and probably worth an extra $100.

This camera was a wonderful purchase. It has met the needs of our office.
