Canon EOS 1100D review
Out of the four main budget/entry DSLRs on the market - also including the Sony Alpha 390 , Pentax K-x and Nikon D3100 - the Canon 1100D comes good right across the board. And that's something that each of its competitors lacks to quite the same degree.- Image quality
- autofocus performance (at this entry level
- Softness and quality issues from kit lens
- plasticy build
- sluggish live view
Canon EOS 1100D review (Rebel T3 review)
There are very few things that let the Canon EOS 1100D (Rebel T3) down. Although we're not overly keen on some design elements, the body's smooth plastic finish or the live view mode's sluggish focusing, that's pretty much where the moaning stops.
Canon EOS Rebel T3/1100D Camera – Review
The Canon EOS 1100D is Canon's new entry-level Digital SLR (Single-Lens Reflex) camera, superseding the EOS 1000D with higher specs. It will be a welcome start for anyone entering into the DSLR world who wants the features found on many point-and-shoot cameras as well as the capability to take more...- Good low light shots
- Easy access to most controls
- Competitive price
- On-screen feature guide
- Metering options not on camera back
- No spot meter
- Memory card a little difficult to extract
Great Investment For Me
I wanted to buy a beginner dslr camera but was confused between the brands of Nikon and Canon. My friend suggested me to go for Canon EOS 1100d. It is a good entry level DSLR which has a guide mode for newcomers. Though it can handle upto 6400 ISO, the grains are highly visible at 6400 ISO.

Canon EOS Rebel T3 / 1100D
The Canon T3/1100D entered life as an entry-level DSLR with basic features including an entry-level basic feature that everyone can love - a low price . That feature, low price, is indeed the primary reason to buy this DSLR over the rest of the Canon EOS DSLRs - including the announced at the same...
Canon EOS 1100D EF-S 18-55 IS II Kit review
A predictable update to a fine entry-level SLR – it might be short on exciting extras but its ability to take gorgeous photos is hard to fault.
Canon EOS 1100D Digital SLR Review
is Canon's entry level camera, and is the second camera to be introduced since the 1000D. As the 300D through to the 600D range improved over the years, Canon increasingly came under pressure from other entry level DSLR models, often priced at a lower level than the range, therefore Canon introduced...- Excellent image quality
- Excellent colour reproduction
- Extremely low noise
- Excellent battery life
- Brilliant JPEG output
- Easy to use menu system
- Only 2fps continuous shooting when set to RAW
- Basic kit lens is not image stabilised
- IS version costs more
- Value for money could be better
- Lacks sensor cleaning technology
