A Great Camera For The Price
I bought mine in March of 2010. First of I paid $699.00 for mine. But, It has been fun learning all the features of this camera. It takes great pictures, even with an idiot like me behind it. With image stabilizer, automatic focus, it's kind of hard to mess up.
Pros:
- Well built
- Not heavy or bulky for a Digital SLR camera.
Cons:
- None

Canon EOS 1000D
All of which leads us to two burning questions: is it worth the extra bucks for the 450D over the 1000D? And how does the 1000D stack up overall compared with its sub-AU$1,000 competitors?
Pros:
- Excellent photo quality for its class
- Solid performance
Cons:
- Maximum ISO of 1600
- No spot meter
- Annoying, in-viewfinder, focus-point display

Happy with it
Bought a Sigma 18-50mm and 55-200mm lens kit and I really like that too. I've been told that unless you're doing architectural photography the difference between them and Canon lenses are minimal. Got the camera with a great package deal from Newegg (Case, HD, SD Card, etc)
Pros:
- Great camera, my first DSLR and I must say I love the picture quality
- I am new to photography but am quickly learning
- Take time to learn the features and how lenses, filters and other accessories can make the shot even better
Cons:
- None for me
- I like the t1i features, but this fits the bill right now

Canon is the photography canon.
I have had this DSLR (Digital Single Reflex) for a little under a week now and while I have wanted to blast off a review straight away I thought that to be fair to the product, those considering buying a DSLR and my readers of this review that I should trial out the camera a little longer before...

" Flexible and Easy To Use "
Having grown up using traditional SLR cameras, this camera has given me incredible flexibility in how I want to photograph. Photos of my sons feet off the ground playing soccer to portrait photography. There are three of these in my family.

Professional Quality!
This camera is professional quality. Like a lot of SLR's is allows you to take pictures with full autofocus or manual focus. It is a camera you can grow with. It is easy to set up and put together. The color and clarity of my photos is much richer when using this camera.
