Astrophotography
My first SLR digital camera, I have also a Fuji finpix bridge camera which is fine for every day shooting but needed a camera for astro photography and has very low noise at 1600 I so so have had some great astro shots. I would recommend this camera to any one interested in astro photography.

This was wonderful starter DSLR for me. It introduced me to the digital photography world and takes great all around photos. It allows a new user to learn and then advance to using the manual settings. Price is what drove me to purchase this camera origanally in a kit.

Canon eos 1000d easy to use nice camera
Hello there dear This camera is gorgeous and gives a cool approach to click photographs easily. The quality is fine when contrasted with portable cameras. This functions admirably and clicks sharp pictures. It is anything but difficult to take it anyplace which implies its very convenient.

Canon EOS 1000D
The 1000D marks the introduction of a brand-new line of EOS models for Canon, coming in below the range that's culminated in the 450D. The body shape is slimmed down compared with the 450D and looks more like the old 350D, released in 2005 (web ID: 79985).

Canon EOS 1000D reviewed
[This review is from a Group Test in which we reviewed DSLRs and hybrid cameras, published in the February 2011 issue of PC & Tech Authority. We've republished the article here.] At first glance, the 1000D doesn't look terribly cut down compared to the more expensive 550D.

Canon EOS Rebel XS
The baby brother to the Rebel XSi , the Canon EOS Rebel XS is the typical, almost-identical, but slightly less-powerful, version of that camera. As with the XSi, Canon offers two body designs for the XS--an attractive solid black, and a less-attractive, two-tone, silver and black style.
Pros:
- Excellent photo quality for its class
- solid performance
Cons:
- Maximum ISO of 1,600
- no spot meter
- annoying, in-viewfinder, focus-point display

Canon EOS 1000D review Review
The Canon EOS 1000D reflects the narrowing gap between compacts and digital SLRs. With its lightweight build and 10.1-megapixel CMOS sensor, the dSLR is an unintimidating camera. Will its compact-style features pack enough punch to sway buyers from other entry-level shooters?
Pros:
- Live view
- Bright display
- Stabilised kit lens
Cons:
- Budget feel
- Average performance
- Unadventurous specs

Canon EOS 1000D DSLR
Canon's most recent SLR may cause some alarm among owners of the EOS 450D, the company's previous entry-level SLR. The arrival of a new model called the 1000D, no less, may lead them to believe that their new toy has been rendered obsolete by a camera several generations more advanced, but names can...

Canon EOS 1000D
All of which leads us to two burning questions: is it worth the extra bucks for the 450D over the 1000D? And how does the 1000D stack up overall compared with its sub-AU$1,000 competitors?
Pros:
- Excellent photo quality for its class
- Solid performance
Cons:
- Maximum ISO of 1600
- No spot meter
- Annoying
- in-viewfinder
- focus-point display
