No lens system is remotely complete without an ultra-wide angle option. While Canon doesn't seem to be overly enthusiastic about their EOS M lineup, they are recognizing the fact by offering the Canon EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 STM IS.

Reading reviews on wide angle lenses, this Canon 11-22mm EF-M lens ranks higher than most all others, and in use, the sharpness does show, great color rendition too. Fits only Canon M series bodies though. Will not fit EF bodies.

The Canon EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM ($399.99) is one of the better wide-angle zooms for any mirrorless camera system. It's compact, well-built, sharp, and doesn't show a lot of distortion, even at its widest angle.

Bought this lens in Hong Kong when it first came out. I used this lens on EOS M1. Super small and light weight, making it the perfect combo for travel. On the original M, focus is super fast and quiet. Photo qualoty is excellent, very sharp.

This was my third EF-M lens and it is now the lens that stays attached to my EOS M most of the time. The focal range is excellent for general photography, as is the image quality. I can make 30" x 20" prints from this lens and the IQ is fine.

I have been a big fan of the EOS M system since its release and this lens was the icing on the cake. It now stays almost permanently on my EOS M.I find the focal length range very useful and the colours, contrast and sharpness are excellent.

"Sadly Canon decided not to release this lens in the USA so I ordered it from Henry's and am super happy with this purchase. The lens is of high quality in it's build and optics and takes super sharp images with good contrast and resolution.
