This is my favorite lens for several reasons. It's my first 'Image Stabilization' lens and I wonder
Sharp, Fast, L glass, good build; Great all around pro lens
Big price jump compared to non-IS version
Manufacturer: Canon

Superb build quality, sharp as a tack images, could not be happier, and with a Sony A7 ii and IBIS (In-Body Image Stabilization) who needs the Canon IS version That IS version is almost double the price of this one, which I got on sale for $599. Another B & H home run ! :)
This is such a pleasure to use and I am so happy I bought it. Coupled with my 5D I am finally getting the results I have sought for so many years. It is heavy but what quality and performance. I wanted the IS version but could not afford the extra price.
Tremendous brokeh and sharpness; Focusing has been effortless and the feel of the lens is pure luxury
None just a little heavy and takes some getting used to
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Fast / accurate auto-focus
I use this for wildlife, sports and weddings. An amazing lens which I'm very glad I purchased. If your thinking about it get it. You won't be disappointed. I was really impressed with deliver and service from WEX.
Consistent Output; Durable; Quick Focus; Sharp Focus; Strong Construction
Well, what to say. this lens is absolutely worthy of its L stamp. There is always a choice to make for anyone looking at the 70 200 L group of lenses. what i would say, is, regardless of whether you choose the f/4 or f/2.8, ensure you get an image stabilised version.
+ image quality; build quality; IS; AF
really none; unless you can afford and warrant the 2.8 IS II
takes awesome photos - Amazon threw it over the back fence on delivery rather than leave with next door.
It would appear the price of 39.53 from Amazon is for the lens hood only !

its way better to pay like a couple hundred more and getting this on over the 70-200mm f/4 because if you get the f/4 after a month you would regret buying it so i say go buy this one
Prior to owning this lens I did not realise it was possible for a lens to create sharp clear images at every aperture and zoom length. I chose this non IS version even though I could afford the IS version. Why? Because I use this lens primarily for shooting birds, animals and fast moving children.
Superior build quality; Super-sharp images; Fast auto-focus
