Ive been looking for the perfect street lens for a while. Recenlty bought a canon 6d and added the 24-105mm. Wow blown away -= wouldnt be the same on my old 60d as the 6d is full frame. Thanks Cameras Direct. As always a great experience.

Excellent sharpness throughout the range in the centre at maximum aperture; Good build quality; Relatively lightweight; Reasonably low distortion

Optically stabilized; Sharp throughout the zoom range; Optically stabilized.
Some distortion at 24mm; Telescoping design
This lens is great for portraits and group images. It takes great pictures and is light enough use for hours. I am very happy with this lens, it could pass as brand new.
The image quality is not that bad but I prefer F2.8 if you can pay for it.
If your demands don't require a fixed f/2.8 zoom lens, the Canon EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM will reward you with sharp images and a useful zoom range.
