great for my purposes,

I had never used or thought about scanners before but decided to make photobook for my daughter when she turned 30 so lots of baby/childhood photos in non digital form- they all came out really well.

Satisfied with the product

Went for it 15 days back by seeing flipkart reviews. Firstly, again impresssed with Flipkart service, got it delivered in 4 days. Secondly, regarding the product; very user friendly, beautiful look, took less than 1 hr to get used to it, quality of scan is satisfactory, makes a little noise but...

Rare find these days

Most scanners come attached to fax, copy, and printers these days. Needed this for work and it fits the bill. Scans clear and easy to operate.

Canon CanoScan LiDE 110 Color Image Scanner Review

The Canon CanoScan LiDE110 Color Image Scanner ($59.99 direct) stands out from the crowd for one simple reason. It's hard to find another flatbed photo scanner today that doesn't include film scanning. If the only photos you want to scan are prints, that can be a problem, because adding the ability to scan film adds cost as well. Fortunately, it works the other way too. Leaving the film scan feature out translates to a lower price. As I pointed out when I reviewed the Canon CanoScan LiDE 100 ($59.99, 4 stars) that the LiDE 110 replaces in Canon's line, this can make the scanner an all but irresistible bargain. It's also an easy pick for Editors' Choice. The LiDE 110 offers most of the same features as the LiDE 100, including 2400 pixel per inch (ppi) optical resolution and reasonably high scan quality. It doesn't come with much software, but the included MP Navigator EX scan utility offers limited photo enhancement and photo album features along with built-in optical character r...

The Canon CanoScan LiDE 110 Color Image Scanner is aimed at people who want to scan photographic prints without paying extra for a film scanning feature they don't need.

Don't recommend.

You need to pay to continue to use the software every year. If you don't upgrade, there will be letters across the whole item you scanned.. Never used a scanner where yearly payments were necessary. Don't recommend.

LOVE IT!

I don't use it very often, but when I do I realize I should use it a lot more often! I like to scan all my important travel documents, then email copies to myself and family back home in case I lose my originals while on the road. Super easy to use, even for low tech consumers such as myself.

Nice low profile scanner with some helpful software

Nice low profile scanner with some helpful software. Good for creating PDF documents. Just a slight irritation though, the document to be scanned needed to placed upside down on the platen for it to be read the correct way up after scanning.
