The Canon CanoScan LiDE110 Color Image Scanner ($59.99 direct) stands out from the crowd for one simple reason. It's hard to find another flatbed photo scanner today that doesn't include film scanning. If the only photos you want to scan are prints, that can be a problem, because adding the ability to scan film adds cost as well. Fortunately, it works the other way too. Leaving the film scan feature out translates to a lower price. As I pointed out when I reviewed the Canon CanoScan LiDE 100 ($59.99, 4 stars) that the LiDE 110 replaces in Canon's line, this can make the scanner an all but irresistible bargain.
