Not full functioning on upgraded Macs

★★★★★ 2.0
Verdict: Idiots at Canon have not upgraded the software for Maverick system on Macs. It still works to some degree but not all features are available. Wouldn't you think that a company would provide support for its product

Great Scanner

★★★★ 1.0
Verdict: This scanner replaces a comparable Epson model, which broke because of an inferior design using plastic parts. This Canon scanner uses metal parts where the Epson uses plastic.
  • Worked right out of the box
  • The software interface is superior to Epson's
  • Easier to use and offers more adjustment settings
  • I'm very satisfied

Great Scanner

★★★★★ 5.0
Verdict: Purchased this to replace a UMAX. I can scan twice as fast and the results are twice as good. Virtualy no warm up - UMAX had to warm up every time it was used (UMAX hit the dumpster). Scans 4 35mm slides at a time. I was able to scan an entire 140 slide carousel in just about an hour.
