In 2007 the fourth installment of the Call of Duty series was launched, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Developed by Infinity Ward it became one of the all-time favorite Call of Duty games. This was also the first Call of Duty I have played and will always be my favorite.

There's no denying COD 4's popularity, named as one of the best games for the last generation and perhaps of all time…it was only a matter of time before it got remastered. Remastered would imply that it simply has been upscaled with new higher resolution textures and modern visuals, but it feels...

I think it's safe to say that this is really the new standard for bringing revered classics up to snuff for the current generation.
