Ghosts is a cookie cutter game with a little touch of alien frosting on top. However, the well-designed multiplayer maps, soldier customization, and polished gameplay is more than enough to sink your teeth into.

So here we are again. The latest installment in a series that's shipped more copies than the Bible, Call of Duty: Ghosts is the first title in the franchise to release on both current and next generation consoles.

Despite the title, this game will be seen and heard by millions.  Activision flew me out to checkout the lastest installent in the yearly Call of Duty life cycle, developed by Infinity Ward, Neversoft, and Raven.

Parents need to know Call of Duty: Ghosts is a gritty, military first-person shooter with constant and intense gun battles. Characters bleed and scream when struck by bullets, leaving crimson smears on the environment. Players also can attack enemies with knives in visceral close-quarters combat.

In conclusion it is a solid game, but it offers nothing overly new, and I am just as satisfied playing the Modern Warfare installments. In truth, I still prefer them.

I found the campaign mode to be one of the more intresting and engaging stories among the recent Call of Duty's; I feel like they are releasing one every few months now, and this one was at least refreshing; I found the multiplayer to be rather unimaginitive.

I wish they had done more for the multiplayer; Playing 8 on 8 has grown rather mundane in my opinion; I would like to have seen them do more to take advantage of the new platforms.

This is the best Call of Duty game I've played. The graphics on the Xbox One are stunningly gorgeous and the gameplay is as smooth as ever. The missions seem to all offer some different twists keeping it fresh and fun. Multiplayer is great too offering a wealth of customization and game modes.

Do your research before buying... very slow game took hours to load. Still has issues and is very slow. Not worth it... when it does work it's enjoyable but that's only about 30% of the time.
