Fun game, but didn't receive region 1 version

Seller didn't specify that used game being sold was Japanese region 3 copy. Still works since game is all in English and PS3 is region free, but unfair to collectors looking for specifically region 1 copies of the game. The stars on this review only reflect on the seller, not the game itself.

Burnout Paradise is still the best as of 2014

I bought this game back in 2008 right after I got a PS3. It was the first open world racing game I had ever played and I have so many fond memories of this game. Its too bad the cofounders at Criterion have left because we'll probably never get another game like it.

burnout review

Burnout Paradise sees what are arguably the biggest changes in the franchise's history, with nearly every single aspect of the game having seen some sort of shift in design. Some of it works really well, and some of it not so well, but what we wind up with still remains an intense, blazingly fast...

Very disappointing. The game looks good enough, especially with ENB, but that's about all it has going for it. Criterion purport the idea of race events on a free roam map as something new, "unlike any other driving experience", even though Need for Speed Underground 2 and Test Drive Unlimited had...

I got this game for Christmas and it has great graphics, expantion packs and lots of missions to accomplish. Fun for everyone includes motorcycles, jumps, races, crash missions and lots of online hours of game. For me this is better than other racing cars. It's not a sim is arcade.

Best driving game on PS3 !!!

I originally bought this for my 3 year old son - Yes three years old. He loved the demo.

Fun; graphics; contiue to add new content to game; online is easy to use

No two player mode or weather & traffic settings

I came to Burnout Paradise fresh, so to speak, as I hadn't played Burnout before. I was a Gran Turismo kind of gamer, and other than my love for F1 and British touring Car Championship racing, Gran Turismo had my back with regard to video game racing.

Exhilarating, freeform arcade racing.

Burnout Paradise is an incredibly amusing freeform street racer. Put on a good soundtrack and enjoy.

Technically, there is a story of a sort in Burnout Paradise; It is about as thin as wet kleenex; But it is there

The sound is perfectly fine; However, the music selection is mostly uninspiring and DJ Atomica is pretty boring most of the time; The game would have been much better if, like the recent GTA titles, they had included entertaining talk radio.

Burnout Paradise

Still has all the elements of Burnout: Burnouts, fast, furious, Takedowns, wrecks, guts and glory! Open World Game play - Can't blame them from trying something different but it gets old very quick in one-player mode. I think the consensus out there is some love it some hate it, I'm...

UEFA EURO 2008

UEFA Euro 2008 is a good game, but with only a ‘fraction' of FIFA 08. You've got the added modes, but the £40 RRP may put gamers off as it's only European teams and FIFA 08 is cheaper with more teams; you'll be missing out on Captain Your Country though.

Captain Your Country; Fast; fluid football; Great atmospheres around Europe

Online needs to be fixed; The invisible player I encountered; Cross-and-score players get annoying
