A great little item if you get it on closeout!
We did not need a label printer, but when I saw this for very cheap on buy.com I thought it would be
Pros:
- Paper lasts a long time
- customizeable labels with images
- print right from Outlook
Cons:
- Can'
- t print from browsers or other apps.

The QL-570 label printer
I use the QL-570primarily to create labels for mineral specimens and themore I use it the more I LOVE it. It took a few tries to figure out what I was doing but the more I use it the easier it is and the more I like it.

I use the Brother QL-570 with the white continuous rolls, yellow is also available. Good label printer
Does what you need, has lots of clip art and label templates. Once set up is quick and easy to print. Must be connected to computer via USB. Does not appear to have any other options; such as plugging into a router. But other models may do that. Can take different label sizes to save waste

Great machine for all purposes
Great machine for all purposes. Bought when on sale, similar price than the DYMO PnP LableMaker, but with far more capabilities. Also the labels are pretty cheap as well.

Perfect Little Machine.
I've been wanting to buy a labeller for quite some time, When I had the chance, I did it & I have been very happy with the Brother labeller.

The QL-570 is a useful tool for small business owners who do a lot of shipping, or hobbyists who need to print labels.
Pros:
- Easy to set up
- use
- Fast printing
- Fun templates
- Auto paper sensing and feeding
- Intuitive software
Cons:
- Low resolution is ideal for text
- but not images
- No color option
- Expensive for casual use
- Requires connection to computer

It was easy to setup and start using. One annoying "feature", even though I set the default font size to 12, it still starts with 24 point font which I have to change. In the title above I wrote "poor" support, actually I should say "no" support. I posted a question, but never got an answer.
