Brother MFC-J6910DW review

Brother's new range of A3 inkjet multifunction devices brings us three models: the entry-level MFC-J6510DW; the mid-range MFC-J6710DW; and this, the high-end MFC-J6910DW. As you might expect, they're based on the same form factor and print engine, with the more expensive models adding new features.

Brother MFC-J6910DW

There are plenty of A4 inkjet all-in-ones, but if you're looking for a printer that can handle A3 paper, your choice is limited. Brother has been making large inkjet all-in-ones for several years and its MFC-J6910DW includes both duplex print and copy, and wireless connection.

Quick and easy duplex copies; Three-way paper feed; Low running costs

Poor plain paper prints; Insipid colour copies; Repeated paper mis-feeds

Brother MFC-J6910DW

A multifunction A3 inkjet printer, the MFC-J6910DW will catch the eye of those looking for a maximum of features. 4-in1, it's the highest performance and most complete model in the Brother A3 range, which pretty much puts...

Record cost per page: 4.9 pence/page with the XL cartridges; Colour touch screen / wi-fi; A3 / Double-sided; Good office document speeds; Cartridges easy to access; exist in two formats

Average quality for office documents; Scanner and copier quality down on print quality; The odd paper block; Slightly dominant reds in photo prints

Brother MFC-J6910DW review

Brother's MFC-J6000 series is a new line of 4-in-1 multi-function inkjet printers for small-to-medium businesses, designed to offer more capabilities than just print output, while matching the low running costs usually associated with lasers.

The price tag may put off casual buyers, but the Brother MFC-J6910DW A3 inkjet multifunction printer offers high quality and extensive features.

MFC-J6910DW CLR INKJET P/S/C/F A3 1200X6000DPI 192MB 12PPM

If I had to do it over again I would buy a Lexmark. There Wifi software was much better than Brothers.

It has a lot of functions

the software installation is confusing, seems bloated with extra unneeded stuff and is very unforgiving of any error on installation; My installation failed and I can not uninstall the software; Before it even starts the install it wants the original installation disk.

Better than most All-in-ones

So far Brothers have come WAY up in the world of printers serpassing

It does the job consistently; I don't have to coax it to work! I do some printing on "business card" stock and because of the perforation, if you use the card stock in the trays, the individual cards pop out and jam the machine.

Its a bit heavy but for its size its fine of course it is for business so one would expect a larger size

Great product that i used for over 2 years

Great product that i used for over 2 years....once i hardwired it. The wireless function was quite unreliable. I use the scanner often and with the wireless setup it wasn't fun. Once i hardwired it it was great though. It really works well and i love having a 11x17 printer.

Bought this for both home and office use, needed a wireless so we could print from our laptops and also needed a large screen area to scan, copy ledger size and sometimes 11 x 17. Tried to install with the cd and it kept freezing at a certain point, but it was very easy download from the Brother...

Clean Writing; Easy To Operate; Fast Print Time; Quiet

Install Cd Bad; No Tray To Catch Paper
