Brother MFC-J430W review
The Brother MFC-J430W is a squat device that can print, scan, copy and fax. There's also a smallish colour display and wireless networking, but no wired Ethernet connection or memory card slots. This is an office-orientated device, though, so memory card slots aren't a surprising omission.

Brother MFC-J430W review
Brother's MFC-J430W is one of the cheaper and more compact printers in this group. It doesn't have quite the same speed and capacity as some of its rivals, so it probably won't be ideal for an office where a number of people will need to share the printer.
Pros:
- Compact
- affordable printer with scanner
- copier and fax features
Cons:
- Modest print speeds in high quality mode
- colour printing price could be more competitive

I wanted to like this All-In-One
I reviewed this All-In-One elsewhere shortly after I purchased it in 2011 and was very pleased with everything about it. As time went on, I discovered that the machine was regularly cleaning the ink cartridges (which uses ink), though I could see no reason why.
Pros:
- Easy to Use
- quality printing
- quality scanning
- wireless is easy to set up
Cons:
- automatic ink cartridge cleaning wastes ink

Faulty Printer Bad Service
I wish I could give 0 stars. We purchased this printer to use in our home, and when we inserted the brand new ink cartridges two of them didn't work. I contacted customer service and instead of trying to figure out why they aren't working, or offering to exchange them, I was told that I need to go...

HORRIBLE
I have had this printer for about 1 year, and there is rarely a week that goes by that I have not cu

- Dunno
- Cheap to purchase, then hours and hours of frustration..

The printer is entirely matte black, apart from a piano-black panel in the centre of the scanner lid. The controls are simple, and feature a 1.9-inch colour LCD screen set at a fixed angle in the front.
