Brother HL-L3210CW

All the major printer makers offer similar machines with slightly varying feature sets and price points. However, few scenarios demonstrate this as clearly as the HL-L3210CW, the HL-L3230CDW, and the HL-L3270CDW. However, taking a close look reveals a clear difference in this line.

Great dependable Printer

I am using this color laser printer as a home network printer. One of the best things about this printer is how easy it was to install and make available to the multiple devices we print from at various times. It is a great heavy duty home printer at a fantastic price

This all-in-one machine replaced a Brother MFC 9340CDW which lasted six years before needing several replacement parts that, in sum, cost as much as this machine. The only material differences between this machine and the 9340 are lack of automatic two-sided printing and less networking capability.

Amazing value

Printing can be very expensive with ink jet printers as well as being liquid ink that can soak the paper or dry up and not work. However this is a colour printer using four tonner cartridges supplied with the printer.

Quiet, fast and wireless

I bought this because I wanted a replacement laser printer that was colour and wireless. It achieved both of these. However, it was only until I set it up and started using it that I realised that it couldn't do duplex (double sided) printing automatically. For the price, it is a huge compromise.

What you give up for the $50 price difference, though, is significant, including an easy-to-use touch-screen control panel, plentiful connectivity options, and high-quality graphics output. In other words, it's worth weighing feature set versus price when considering the HL-L3210CW over its more expensive sibling. In other words, instead of using a laser mechanism to tell the printer where to place toner on the page, the HL-L3210CW performs this task with an array of LEDs.
