Brother HL-L2300D

4.0
Pros: Small size. Excellent paper handling for personal use. Duplexer (for two-sided printing)
Cons: No Ethernet or Wi-Fi
Verdict: The Brother HL-L2300D monochrome laser printer ($119.99) is small enough to sit on your desk without taking up a lot of space and is limited to connecting via USB cable. The combination defines it as a personal printer for any size office.

Great Price

2.0
Verdict: Great copies, fast first copy, like double sided coping. Problem: Fairly often I have to disconnect machine and re-connect in order to get copy. This is annoying.

Economical!

5.0
Verdict: This is a fantastic printer for the price. Toner cartridges are super cheap, to boot! It's fast and can print quite fine detail. I took a star off because sometimes it doesn't like printing documents over 10 pages, and I have to do them in batches.

I recommend this product

5.0
Verdict: I got tired of having to pay through the nose for color ink on my old LP printer. The LP printer I had was too temperamental. If you want to refill the ink cartridges, LP takes a fit if you don't do it right. I decided that since I don't print color, I purchased this black only printer.

Get one. Better than all the rest.

5.0
Verdict: Forget them crap printers you by in the shops. If you print a lot in black and white just get one of these. The printer ink last ages and its cheep. How often do you need colour. I was fed up with paying out for printers that cost loads for printer ink and got one of these. I will not be going back.

An excellent mono laser printer

5.0
Verdict: Easy to set up, just follow the instructions. Get printer driver from either supplied CD or download from internet. Plenty of print options (eg 2 sided print save). Nice, no-problem laser printer; in my case used for home based printing.

4-Shipping Labels

4.0
Verdict: I remember my 1st Shipping label. The mailman told me to put tape over it. After 2-yrs I finally purchased this Laser Printer and I couldn't be happier. I still use regular paper to print labels. I've had the Brother HL-L2300D for 6-months.

Unimpressed

2.0
Pros: Printer was on sale
Cons: It doesn't come with the USB AB cable needed to plug into my computer. That's not cool, I priced them out at local stores and the cheapest one I could find was a $15 10-foot cable, so I ordered one from Newegg instead for $3.50. It was a 15 foot cable, too
Verdict: This has nothing to do with
