Print Satisfaction!
The printer is practical and the price was excellent. The printer came well packaged. The only complaint would be that a cable for the printer was not included. The printer works great & the driver installation was simple.

Don't waste your money or patience.
The most unpredictable disappointing printer I've ever had to work on. It will print the first page fine, but if I have 2 or more pages of text to print, it prints the first one, then "half" the second one, and "sometimes" the third one completely, than back to the first one again.

BROTHER HL-2240D Black and White Laser Printer
This is just the first week so we need to see how it goes. Delivery was good when ordered and the machine was easy to get working.

- The machine is compact
Cons:
- The feeder for the bypass tray is small
- There isn't any extension in this machine

Good, realiable, affordable...
After lots of research online regarding laser printers, I decided to get this printer. It has a duplex printing feature and had pretty good reviews. It's a basic printer without all the unnecessary extra stuff. The cost per page printing is much less than for any inkjet printer.

Excellent Printer and Excellent Price
This is my second Brother printer. Have had the 2270DW for two years and very pleased with the performance. Zero problems in setup, operation and printing quality. Wireless setup is easy. The toner lasts a bit less than I wished, but many of my outputs are graphics.

Great affordable printer
I already bought HL-2270DW because Windows 8 was not compatible with my old printer. Since I have a condo in another country, I purchased the HL-2240. I love both printers & esp. the low priced toners.

Reliable Low-cost Printer. So far.
I've been using my reliable old Apple LaserWriter which I bought new in '95 ... but it's big and noisy and prints PostScript, so even simple documents take forever to print. I got this one as just a low-cost, no frills printer for invoices and mail labels.

Very good black and white printer
The checklist says it all. It was easy to set up, and the directions were clear--I actually followed them so I could mention them in this review--good or bad. The only moment of frustration I had was that the included software only extended to Mac OS 10.6x.

excellent value
i have 2 of these. they have worked flawlessly over 3 tax seasons. I have printed over 75,000 sheets of paper in 2 years using only paper and refilled my own toner toner cartridges. If you buy one brother toner cartidge and go online to ink owl you can refill your cartridge for $10.
