Gone may be the days when you couldn't find a laser printers for much under £300. Even so, the £59 Brother HL-1110 looks astonishingly affordable even by today's standards. That's doubly so given that the latter is actually a rather smart little device.

Easy to set up. Cheap consumables. For low volume but high quality output this budget laser printer is great. If you want faster speed, larger paper tray, even lower pricing you will need to pay a lot more, but for a home, infrequently used printer which does not take up too much room you can not go...

I think the Brother HL-1110 Monochrome Laser Printer is fantastic.

-X- Brother Mono Laser Printer -X- -X- Model HL 1110 -X- I don't print photos or any fancy item, in fact I don't print that much stuff at all. I use a printer to print labels for My Hermes (who I use to send parcels for my E Bay sales), for printing letters etc., none of which need colour.

My existing printer developed a 'drum fault', where replacement or repair would have been excessive, over the cost of the 1110, especially as there was no way of telling if it was printer or drum at fault.
