Sage Scraper Mixer Pro

I purchased this product to replace a Kenwood Prospero which had proved totally un satisfactory. The build quality of the Sage mixer is very good, the quality of the attachments are excellent, not flimsy like the Prospero.

This mixer is great.

It's easy to use and mixes great! It's not too heavy. I love the cord that hides away. I've had it up on the whip speed and my mixer didn't move at all. I've made heavy cookie dough and it does a great job. I would definitely recommend this mixer.

I love my Breville mixer

I am very impressed by this mixer. It is my first of this kind, and have read a lot of reviews before choosing this model over KitchenAid's Pro Series. I am not disappointed at all! It is super easy to use, comes with a pouring shield and is quite silent for the power it has.

Beats KitchenAid Mixer Hands-Down

Very sturdy and elegant design. Countdown timer's great, but not intuitive to use. Overall, great product. If you want a classic, go with KitchenAid; if you want a more sturdy and functional stand mixer, then buy this.
Pros:
  • Elegant Design
  • Even Mixing
Cons:
  • Count-down timer
  • Heavy

Have had this mixer for 8 months now,I make Pavlova and whip cream regularly, have made bread dough once, and have made a few large cakes and brownie mixes with it. It has performed well with everything I have made,it was so quick to get air into the egg whites for pavlova to what I had grown used...

Breville (BEM800)

Pros:
  • This mixer has a sleek design – the brushed stainless steel finish hardly shows streaks and fingerprints, so it is easy to clean
  • If you want an affordable, stylish mixer that works effectively, this model is worth considering.
Cons:
  • The whisks were slightly tricky to insert
  • When we made the pastry some flour splattered out of the bowl at the start and the pastry didn't come together very nicely, so we had to form a dough by hand

Hi. Only mix between 600g of dough, 800g if you like to take a risk or you will burn out the motor. And if you buy one before the 25.12.14 you can get a free "Sage's Multi Cooker - BRC600UK" John.
