Less than 5 year life span
Worst appliance ever owned. Gear box failed after only 4 1/2 years. Price to fix $285 (throught it away). Sadly ironically gave my 30year old Kenwood away when I bought this. My friend has a good reliable mixer and I have junk.

Less than 5 year life span
Like the esppresso machine I bought, it failed after less than five years (gear box). I paid premium price for junk. Ironically I gave away my 30+ year old Kenwood mixer and 15 year old espresso. I now have to go to my friends for a espresso and cake.

After exhaustive research, I've found the perfect stand mixer for me!
I debated for months between this mixer, a Kitchenaid Artisan, and a Cuisinart stand mixer. I read countless reviews on this and other websites and forums. I had previously used two mixers I had inherited from my grandmother and mother and wanted something that would hold up for bread and also...

Hi. Only mix between 600g of dough, 800g if you like to take a risk or you will burn out the motor. And if you buy one before the 25.12.14 you can get a free "Sage's Multi Cooker - BRC600UK" John.

Beats KitchenAid Mixer Hands-Down
Very sturdy and elegant design. Countdown timer's great, but not intuitive to use. Overall, great product. If you want a classic, go with KitchenAid; if you want a more sturdy and functional stand mixer, then buy this.
Pros:
- Elegant Design
- Even Mixing
Cons:
- Count-down timer
- Heavy

Have had this mixer for 8 months now,I make Pavlova and whip cream regularly, have made bread dough once, and have made a few large cakes and brownie mixes with it. It has performed well with everything I have made,it was so quick to get air into the egg whites for pavlova to what I had grown used...

Breville (BEM800)
Pros:
- This mixer has a sleek design – the brushed stainless steel finish hardly shows streaks and fingerprints, so it is easy to clean
- If you want an affordable, stylish mixer that works effectively, this model is worth considering.
Cons:
- The whisks were slightly tricky to insert
- When we made the pastry some flour splattered out of the bowl at the start and the pastry didn't come together very nicely, so we had to form a dough by hand

Add my voice
"I would just like to add my voice to the request for Australian version of your stand mixer. While the color options would be nice, what I am more interested in is the wattage and warranty. I am in the market for a stand mixer in the near future and have been doing a lot of research.
