Bowers & Wilkins PX review: ANC and audiophile talents combine in these knock-out over-ears

Bowers & Wilkins first attempt at active noise-cancelling wireless headphones are accomplished and clever, they come with tonnes of tech but it is the superb audio performance that really shines.

Four levels of active noise-cancellation; Beautiful design notes; Super soundstage with control over clarity and bass in equal measure; Wear sensor that switches them off when not in use

Foldable design could have been adopted; Pricier than some already direct rivals

Without comparison in this price bracket

I decided to upgrade from my Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless to the PX Wireless due to the fact the earphones can rotate and rest on your chest when you take them off. These over ear style of headphones affords a large ear piece and I found whilst travelling and wearing the P7 that If I stopped...

Best headphones I've owned

I've owned all the Beats headphones and Bose noise cancelling headphones and compared to all of these the Bowers and Wilkins PX are by far the best of them all. The sound quality is crisp and the bass is perfect.

Very high build quality and is sonically correct

The buttons on the headphones are of very high quality and they just simply work each and every time. The sound is balanced between the mids, highs and lows. The build quality is second to none and the warranty is two years out of the box.

Bowers and Wilkins PX Review

The Bowers and Wilkins PX headphones provide noise cancellation that doesn't alter how music sounds, and a comfort level that means you won't want to take them off.

Full; rich sound quality; Three noise-cancellation modes; Noise cancellation doesn't drastically affect sound; Wonderfully comfortable; AptX HD

You'll need an AptX HD device to get the best from them; No USB Type C audio in

Bowers and Wilkins' PX are among the best Bluetooth headphones I've tried in recent memory. It's just weird it took a trip to the barber to get the best sound out of them. The PX are a $400 pair of noise cancelling headphones that launched to rave reviews for their classy looks and pristine sound.

Bowers & Wilkins' PX Noise-Cancelling Wireless Headphones Blew My Mind

I'm a longtime Bowers & Wilkins fan . The headphones are so good, I've always thought, they don't even need noise-cancelling. Well, Bowers & Wilkins didn't listen to my thoughts and recently released a set of noise-cancelling headphones. I was wrong.

Of the three wireless noise cancelling headphones that I introduced in my "First Look" video, the Bowers & Wilkins PX stand out the most to me. Not because of some overwhelming superiority over the other two (they are all very capable, high performance headphones), but it's because of what they do...
