Bowers & Wilkins PX

Build & design Bowers & Wilkins are known for not skimping on material selection and build quality. This concept is also pursued with the PX. The exterior of the headphone is dominated by leather, metal and the trim elements of ballistic nylon.

fantastic sound quality

Bowers & Wilkins PX Headphones Review: High Tech for a High Price

Bowers & Wilkins is bringing its premium touch to wireless headphones. The $399 PX headphones are the company's first Bluetooth cans to feature active noise-cancellation technology, and offer smart sensors for automatic pause and play.

Stunning; durable design; Adjustable active noise cancellation; Easy-to-use controls; Good battery life; Great audio quality

Expensive; A bit heavy

Bowers and Wilkins' PX are among the best Bluetooth headphones I've tried in recent memory. It's just weird it took a trip to the barber to get the best sound out of them. The PX are a $400 pair of noise cancelling headphones that launched to rave reviews for their classy looks and pristine sound.

Very high build quality and is sonically correct

The buttons on the headphones are of very high quality and they just simply work each and every time. The sound is balanced between the mids, highs and lows. The build quality is second to none and the warranty is two years out of the box.

Do not buy these if you want to get some work done!

I work in a noisy office with a really irritating air conditioning duct above me. I bought these to try and blot out the noise so I could concentrate. It was cutting through my noise isolating headphones that I use for monitoring recordings. These cancel this out.

Avoid these headphones if you wear glasses

I've tried these, the new Bose QC 35 II and the Sony WH-1000 Mk2 and the most uncomfortable out of all 3 for a person that has to wear glasses as part of normal day to day life are the Bowers and Wilkins PX.

Bowers & Wilkins PX Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones Reviewed

My reference wireless headphone has been the Bowers & Wilkins P7, which has been a trusted source of sound for countless trips across the country, to the gym, and even for a few groovy sessions at the pool while on vacation in Maui.

Bowers & Wilkins PX headphones – a study in contrasts

"Acoustically perfect" Not quite yet in my books I'm afraid. Given B&W's audiophile pedigree, I feel the PX is a bit of a missed opportunity for what is a ready market for fans of the brand and those looking for a solid pair of noise-cancelling headphones for travel to invest in.

Of the three wireless noise cancelling headphones that I introduced in my "First Look" video, the Bowers & Wilkins PX stand out the most to me. Not because of some overwhelming superiority over the other two (they are all very capable, high performance headphones), but it's because of what they do...
