Bowers and Wilkins PX wireless noise-cancelling headphones review

Wireless noise-cancelling headphones feel like the pinnacle of headphone technology. It's here that you'll find all the major brands really flexing their audio muscles.

Noise-cancellation impresses; Auto pause-play works well; USB-C charging

Sound lacks definition; No classic B&W black leather

Do not buy these if you want to get some work done!

I work in a noisy office with a really irritating air conditioning duct above me. I bought these to try and blot out the noise so I could concentrate. It was cutting through my noise isolating headphones that I use for monitoring recordings. These cancel this out.

Bowers & Wilkins PX: Noise-cancelling headphones with style

For most of us, peace and quiet is a rarified commodity. Cities throng with static noise, offices are abuzz with chatter, and even empty homes are filled with the hum of fridges, extractor fans and washing machines.

Gorgeous looks; Adjustable noise-cancellation works well; Balanced; natural sound

Headband is uncomfortable for long periods; Treble is a tad soft

Bowers & Wilkins PX

Bowers & Wilkins is best known for its hi-fi speakers, but the company also puts out some fantastic headphones. The B&W PX is its first crack at a set of wireless, noise-cancelling headphones.

Fantastic sound; Handy smart sensors; Auto power/connect/play; Attractive design

Noise cancellation could be stronger

Avoid these headphones if you wear glasses

I've tried these, the new Bose QC 35 II and the Sony WH-1000 Mk2 and the most uncomfortable out of all 3 for a person that has to wear glasses as part of normal day to day life are the Bowers and Wilkins PX.

Wow, these are good!

This is one impressive pair of portable headphones. I'm using these for my daily commute to London and can't fault them. Sound is incredible, build and finish is first class. Don't hesitate, just buy!

Bowers & Wilkins' PX Noise-Cancelling Wireless Headphones Blew My Mind

I'm a longtime Bowers & Wilkins fan . The headphones are so good, I've always thought, they don't even need noise-cancelling. Well, Bowers & Wilkins didn't listen to my thoughts and recently released a set of noise-cancelling headphones. I was wrong.

Truly outstanding wireless and noise cancelling performance; Well built; Excellent specifications

Can sound a little 'cupped' when used wired; Exerts a fairly high pressure on the head; Carry case is slightly cramped
