First of all after going through many positive reviews on the internet i decided to go with the p7 the package when unboxed had a smell of leather all around and the product itself looks quite apt for its price range made of leather and stainles steel but when i hooked it with my ipod the sound...

extremely poor sound quality, was shocked to hear how poor the sound was, it was the equivalent of a normal ￡40 pair of headphones.

The P7 remind me what headphones used to sound like in the old days fantastic plenty of bass and treble but still keep in the middle ranges With a nice loud comfortable volume. The build quality it's absolutely fantastic. Very comfortable to wear.

The first and the most important point of my conclusion is that I no longer see the need to buy regular P7 headphones because P7 Wireless cost only $50 more and does both jobs great.

In the vast jungle of fancy headphones, some trees stand taller than others. The Bowers & Wilkins P7 , a gorgeous $400 pair of over-the-ear headphones, is one such specimen. I use "fancy" in the way one would speak of a Bentley or a Morgan.

Excellent sound; a big bottom without sacrificing anything up top. Wonderful clarity. Comfortable, with beautiful leather and stylish design notes. They fold up nicely. User-serviceable pads, cables, and drivers

Price - all that hand-stitched leather ain't cheap; Designed for portability and isolation, so unless you have a noisy home, they aren't as desirable for home listening

Even with all the headphones I review, there are times when I need a break and return to a reference headphone. For me it was the Bowers & Wilkins P5-incredibly comfortable with great sound. No more. The B&W P7 headphone have replaced the P5. The P7s are more than just a bigger P5.
